About Us

My name is Leslie, born and raised in west Africa, I came here to pursue a career in Engineering. I've always enjoyed crafting, and crocheting, and painting, but never shared my love for it to the outside world. I've finally taken a leap of faith.

This business started in the midst of the pandemic in 2020. I had just gotten married, lost my job, and working on my green card in the span of 3 months. I was lost and confused, with no way of helping my husband financially. With the help of my little sister, we started selling jewelry from the corner of my apartment. A push and helping hands got us to where we are now: a full on business.

Hello There ❤️

My Name is Leslie Lawrence, and I'm originally from Mali, West Africa. Leslie's Creations started in the midst of the pandemic right after being laid off from my job.

I didn't know how to stay still at home and do nothing, like most people during quarantine. I was losing my mind per se, until my husband reminded me of my love for crafting. I started crocheting, doing some macrame dreamcatchers, painting and making my own cosmetics; hence the name Leslie's Creations. Then one day, I remembered I brought some beautiful handcrafted jewelry from Senegal and Mali; which I was never able to sell during college. So, my sister and I decided to set shop right outside of my apartment, and sell to the cars passing through the neighborhood.

Now, with a little bit of cash, I was able to reinvest the money to now handcraft my own jewelry at a affordable price but with great quality.

Our jewelry are made to last, and to be worn at any time of the day, and for any occasions.

From the hands of toddlers, to water and everyday uses, our jewelry have seen it all.

Welcome to Leslie's Creations!
